Silent Barrage is an installation which exists at two or more locations at once. It's "brain" consists of rat neurons that live and grow at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA and its "body" is a drawing machine which was most recently shown at the Exit Art gallery in New York, USA. The project explores the interface between wetware, software and hardware and asks important questions about learning cognition and consciousness. Since the summer of 2008 I have been working as a collaborator developing various aspects of the project's "body." The first iteration of the project was titled MeArt, whose site can be found here.
